As one of the most widely used aluminum box cases in daily life, aluminum alloy toolboxes need to be maintained regardless of the prolonged service life, economical and environmentally friendly point of view.
Commonly used aluminum alloy toolboxes are mainly affected by various external factors such as dust pollution, corrosion and oxidation, wind and sun, rain, etc. in daily life, which cause their color to fade, and the surface of the box is abraded and scratched. The toolbox should be wiped clean and stored to extend its service life and ensure its quality.
1. The cabinet where the aluminum alloy toolbox is stored should be ventilated.
2. It is recommended to clean the dust before storing the aluminum alloy toolbox. Use a clean cotton cloth to wipe the surface of the cabinet evenly. If there are serious stains, use a soft cloth or soft brush dipped in neutral detergent to scrub. The maintenance of the hardware accessories in the box should be wiped with a dry cloth after use. If it is slightly oxidized, you can try to gently wipe the hardware with flour or toothpaste.
1. Select the welding wire.
Generally choose 301 pure aluminum welding wire and 311 aluminum silicon welding wire.
2. Select the welding method and parameters.
Generally, the left welding method is adopted, and the welding torch and the workpiece form an angle of 60°. When the welding thickness is more than 15mm, the right welding method is adopted, and the welding torch and the workpiece form a 90° angle.
3. It is the preparation before welding.
The aluminum alloy toolbox adopts chemical or mechanical methods to strictly clean the surface oxide film on both sides of the welding groove.
Mechanical cleaning can be pneumatic or electric milling cutters, or scrapers, files and other tools. For thinner oxide films, the oxide film can also be polished with a 0.25 mm copper brush.
